BLACKLIST:

A list of online stores you may want to avoid due to expensive reselling or poor ethics. I call this list a blacklist, but feel free to shop where you want. 

-SHEIN

SHEIN has concerning worker conditions and poor payment. Their factories are referred to as sweatshops. The quality of the clothing is often poor with materials being too thin and cheaply made. They have stolen designs and made duplicates of smaller decora brands. 

-ROMWE

ROMWE is owned by the same parent company as SHEIN. Same concerns apply. 

-Dangerfield

Dangerfield is tricky because some of their clothes are well made with decent material but the accessories are all from the same factories that supply SHEIN/Aliexpress/TEMU but overpriced. Better to buy accessories elsewhere. It is also one of the only alternative clothing store brands in Australia. 

-Devil Inspired

Devil Inspired has a huge range of Lolita and Jfashion pieces, including decora. They resell items on taobao for a significant price increase and have poor customer service. They also sell clothing dupes and make their own.
